For a better result, enable the straight 16:9 code above.Įnter this as an AR code in the game's configuration settings. Only when 4:3 is set in the Wii Options, this code makes the view appear open matte. This code straightens the 16:9 view to be expanded for monitor display, although widescreen is natively supported.
To avoid this, use PAL60 mode when playing the PAL version of the game. This occurs on console and is not an issue with Dolphin.
When playing the PAL version in 50Hz mode, the game is significantly darker than in 60Hz modes. To fix, migrate controls to use separate physical controllers. If a physical controller is set to emulate both a GameCube Controller and a Wii Remote concurrently, it will operate both devices at the same time. Sonic Colors is capable of using both GameCube controllers and Wii Remotes. This game's online functionality has been shut down as of and works in neither Dolphin or on Wii hardware.
